Is it Possible to Anticipate Disasters and Take Action?
Anticipatory Action Workshop
Instead of responding after disasters occur, it is possible to take action by anticipating risks in advance. The Anticipatory Action approach was developed precisely for this purpose; today, it is rapidly gaining importance worldwide in humanitarian aid and disaster risk management.
With the fund of the European Union Delegation and support of the Association of Civil Society Development Center (STGM), the Disaster Platform, of which we are a member, is organizing the ‘Project to Support the Capacity of NGOs in Disaster Risk Management’. As part of this project, Support to Life is organizing the Anticipatory Action Workshop to be held online on October 7, 2025.
We invite civil society actors and all relevant stakeholders in Türkiye to join us in exploring this innovative approach.
