While AFAD worked in coordination with other civil society organizations in city centers of Elazığ and Malatya; we surveyed surrounding districts, neighborhoods and villages and collected data for our needs assessment. At the same time, our HQ staff got in touch with local authorities such as mukhtars and district administrations so collect situation and needs data from the entirety of the disaster area.
In coordination of AFAD, we are continuing our activities together with other civil society organizations playing an active role. You may reach timely outcomes of our rapid needs assessments via ihtiyacharitasi.org.
