Support to Life (STL) is organizing a Good Practices in Child Safety Webinar on December 25th. The webinar, where Child Safeguarding Academy members will share their best practices, is open to everyone who fills out the participation form.
As part of our child safeguarding efforts, we have worked together with non-governmental organizations, public institutions, local governments and independent workers at the Child Safety Academy, which we established to improve the capacity of institutions working with children in the field of child safeguarding.
Now, we will organize a webinar with the participation of Academy members to share our best practices in child safeguarding.

In the webinar, Child Safeguarding Academy members will present their work on different topics such as rural education, child participation, local governments, disability and child safety.
*The webinar will be held in Turkish via zoom. There will be simultaneous Arabic and English translation.
About Support to Life Child Safeguarding Academy
The Child Safeguarding Academy was established under the leadership of the STL, aiming to create a space for local institutions and academics to share experience and knowledge on child safeguarding.
The Child Safeguarding Academy, which started its activities in September 2021, continued to work with the participation of 30 institutions and 5 independent workers/activists.
By coming together online every month, issues such as establishing a child safeguarding policy in institutions, integrating child safeguarding standards into internal practices, risk analysis, child participation in decision-making mechanisms, etc. were discussed in depth, and as a result of the academy's work, the ‘Child Safeguarding Implementation Guide’ was prepared and published.
