In order to ensure children's participation in humanitarian action and to share child-friendly versions of complaint and feedback processes, we have prepared 'Feedback and Participation Adventure: Accountability Guide for Children in Humanitarian Aid' is now available.
The guide, prepared with children for professionals working with children, civil society organizations, social workers, program managers and decision-makers, includes various tools and methods that take children's views into account in feedback and complaint processes and take into account their needs and rights.
The guide, prepared in partnership with Support to Life and World Vision, aims to contribute to the recognition of children as individuals with rights in humanitarian aid processes.
The first part of the three-part guide details the implementation process of the 'Tools for Change' project, in which the guide was designed as a publication based on the work of children's committees. Part two includes guidelines for workshops with children, while the final part includes orientation and awareness materials for children and facilitators.
