Mr. Kurmus graduated from Harvard University in 1996 with a degree in Social Studies.
He began his career in advertising and worked in various industries at C+ level in marketing
research, food production, FMCG, food retail, venture capital, agriculture,
telecommunications and real estate development and construction. He has extensive
experience in marketing, sales, and operations and has been through multiple acquisitions
both on the buyer and seller side.
Mr. Kurmus has spent his time outside work as an instructor at Istanbul Bilgi University, a
radio host, a campaign manager, a data scientist, a basketball coach and a civil community
leader.
He is currently devoting his time to advise and invest in new companies and continues his
volunteer work as a board member of Support to Life, Saint Joseph Alumni Association and
TESEV.
