Mine Ekinci Mechik is the Founder and General Coordinator of KODA (Rural Schools Transformation Network), established in December 2016. Since 2010, she has been actively involved—both voluntarily and professionally—in various civil society organizations and initiatives working in the fields of education, human rights, and social policy.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Bogazici University, Istanbul, and a master’s degree in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In 2017, she received the İbrahim Social Entrepreneurship Award and was recognized as an Ashoka Fellow by the international Ashoka Foundation in 2019.
Focusing her work on rural education, education policy, and social entrepreneurship in education, Ekinci joined the Supervisory Board of Support to Life in 2024.
