Born in Bodrum, Muğla, in 1984, Derya Mutlu received bachelor’s degree from the Department of International Relations of Ege University and then studied MBA first in Public Administration at Universiteit Leiden (Netherlands) and then in Humanitarian Action (NOHA) at University College Dublin (Ireland). Since 2011, he actively works in the field of humanitarian aid. In the meantime, he has worked with several international humanitarian organizations and the Support to Life first in 2011 and then between 2012-2013. The countries where he worked in the field include Iran, Iraq, Lebanon and Malawi. In his works, he mainly focuses on food security and nutrition.
